The intersection of two “waves”, a winding country road and mountainous terrain is the essence of the Road Less Traveled.  At first glance the 41”Hx11”W wall sculpture presents a gentle and easy path, but upon closer examination, one can detect a more complex road that grows steeper and more torturous with every step forward.

Further adding to the turmoil is the spear that bisects the sculpture.  What may be considered an innocent bridge now represents a threat. This terrain is seemingly dangerous and unfamiliar, and there is undoubtedly a risk present with any forward motion.  The Road Less Traveled is indicative of life, for one does not know the future, and there is always a risk that walks hand in hand with any movement.
